American Cowboy Art
Welcome to the gallery! American Cowboy Art features the fine art photography created by nationally acclaimed Western photographer, Christopher Marona.
When we started down this trail, so many years ago, we never imagined that this body of work would be embraced by so many. The reception has been overwhelming and humbling. Chris's photographs have been published in books, newspapers, magazines, calendars and billboards. His fine art has been displayed in galleries, hotels, restaurants, corporate offices, the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and, evidently, a shoreside restaurant in Phuket, Thailand.
The U.S. State Department acquired a limited edition print of "Riders on the Edge of Night" for its Embassy Art Collection.
We are most grateful to those who have honored us by displaying this art in their homes and making it part of their daily lives.
"Christopher Marona captures the mythical quality of our western Heritage with rugged romanticism"

The Spirit of the West
There's some magic in the way he does this-
"So here are the "Cowboys of Colorado", as only Chris can photograph them. There's some magic in the way he does this-the magic of when he "pulls the trigger" on his camera.
To him beauty and action are synonymous. Together they create drama. Like the great John Ford, that's what he wants to preserve, the life and drama of the American Cowboy."
